The exhibition brings for the first time to Shkodër the collection of Palokë Lacë, an early merchant of the city, whose artifacts are preserved in the archives of the Museum of Ethnography in Budapest. In dialogue with objects from the ethnographic collection of the Institute of Anthropology and unpublished images from the archive of the Marubi Museum, the exhibition narrates the visual history of the Shkodër Bazaar, which for decades influenced the cultural and economic life of the city.

A special space is also dedicated to textile designer Jozef Martini, with his jacquard weaving offering a contemporary approach to traditional Shkodran motifs.

The exhibition project was realized in collaboration with the Museum of Ethnography in Budapest, the Embassy of Hungary in Tirana, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Tirana, the Central State Film Archive, the Municipality of Shkodër, and was supported by the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.
